While UFC 223 lost a few fights and a lot of luster, we got a truly spectacular fight for the ages between Rose Namajunas and Joanna Jedrzejczyk in their title rematch. The rest of the MMA fight was watching as what could be considered the People’s Main Event of the night unfolded, and there was a lot of interest in seeing how it would play out.
After a very tactical back and forth fight, Namajunas managed to succeed in her title defense, but there was a lot of love and respect for both fighters before they even set foot in the cage. While the fight went the distance, there was a lot that the pros loved about it.
Here we go. Thug and JJ. Yes, I’ve wanted to use that emoji all night.

During the fight:
J2 has her right glued to her jaw so far, protecting from those lefts Thug killed her with in their first fight. #ufc223

In the last fight one of the biggest things JJ did or didn’t do rather, was move her head. Not a lot of head movement again early on.
